Everytime I try to upload a profile photo from my phone it comes out sideways or upside down...

It's strange...maybe it's the size of the photo?
Or you could try to put it on a computer and upload it from there.

It's a cell phone issue. I used to have that problem all the time with various images on various sites. Try using your phone's edit feature to turn the image then upload it and see if that works.
