Yes I was wondering the same thing! I can't seem to find the user who created it anymore either - maybe that's why it's gone?

Sad though that a group just disappears! Kinda feel like a home is gone

If the user who created the social group has left PC I wonder who will approve requests to join the group.

You might want to ask DocJohn how to fix that.

Huh so the forum is still there but the actual group is gone?? I mean when you click on social groups here, it's not there anymore. It's gone from the groups I am a member of-list. I had a direct link on my phone that instead of going to the group now it ends up on the list of all social groups.

The group was still there yesterday, both me and another member posted, it disappeared sometime during the night.

How many members are in the social group? You need at least fifteen members for a social group to appear on the PC main page.

I can't remember how many members there were but definitely more than 15. Maybe even over 100. It was in the social groups lists until last night. A direct link doesn't work. That must mean the group is completely gone?

I can see from a post on the forum that the member who created the group is gone.

Social Groups are created by individual members, and apparently this member either decided to stop running the social group (and deleted it), or ended their membership. The forum still remains when a group is removed.

The good news is that another member who wants to take on the group can create a new group for introverts, and we can associate the existing forum with the new group. So whoever would like to step up to the plate, just click this link to create the new group:

http://forums.psychcentral.com/group.php?do=create

Thanks!

I'm going to say it...100 members of an introvert social group? Isn't that an oxymoron?

there were a lot of members, but only a few who posted

But really, it's not. Talking to people online is a whole lot less exhausting than being social irl.
Thanks for this!
