is their a way to ignore threads?

example:

their's a thread in 1 of the forums that just annoys me (keeps being pushed to the top), and I just want to hide it

I asked the same question as, like you, I was annoyed by a thread on one of the forums being constantly pushed to the top. Unfortunately, the answer I got was that it can't be done.

you could try setting up an ignore of the original poster if that helps, or the person that posted the offensive comment

go to http://forums.psychcentral.com/private.php

and Look for Edit Ignore List. I think it might hide all posts by that person. If you want to give it a try and see.

Eh, you COULD do what CANDC said, but it wouldn't hide their thread from view.....kind of bogus IMHO.

Yeah, there is one member whose threads I would prefer not to see, but the Ignore only means you can't see their posts and they can't reply to your threads. So that doesn't really help.

Since there is no way of ignoring a specific thread, there's not much more to say or more ways of getting around this problem that haven't already been mentioned, so I'll close this thread now.
