Hello Asphyxia: I could be wrong here, but I believe you may need to either send a Personal Message to one of the Moderators of the forum that thread is in, or the other alternative may be to make a request using the "Report Post" icon in the lower left hand corner of the thread you want deleted. The icon to click on is the little white triangle with the red border & the exclamation point in the center. Again, it is located in the lower left-hand corner of the thread you want to have deleted. If you click on that icon it will bring up a message box you can use to submit your request.
