I'm new to these types of forums and have been wondering what it means when somebody indicates a post as 'triggered' or possible trigger. I've been trying to find out by searching.. but have failed. Just curious...

A trigger is something that brings up bad/overwhelming feelings. There are some common ones like abuse, others are more individual. If someone says they were triggered it usually means something brought up bad old stuff from their past. Hope this helps.

Thanks... just to be clear... I guess I know what it means to have an emotional/behavioral state to be triggered. But I wasn't clear on what it meant when a post has been flagged with the term. Does it mean that person has been triggered?

It means the stuff posted can rubberband you back into bad feelings, thus can trigger you.

Okay... that is what I thought. But I've read a couple of posts that didn't seem to make sense in thus context. Anyway... guess my question is answered. Thanks...
