I know this was talked about and referred to within the Questions Thread but I just thought I would bring it up here.

Clicking on the last post made takes us to the first post of the entire thread.

Also, automatic refreshing (the red numbers on the main forum) seems to have stopped. It either doesn't highlight new posts or does not refresh at all.

That seems to be all happening on my side.

Yes, true. For both sub forums.

I'm sure it's fixable.

It's the last post on the main index, not within the index for me. If I go into that sub-forum, clicking on the last post works ok. But then, that ruins the kewlness of just catching the last post without having to go into the forum itself, doesn't it? Social Games Sub-Forum Issues

BTW would be nice to have a sub-forum for General also, for something like : Current Events in the News?

It's really difficult to see when a thread has been replied to.

It is such a popular forum, is it possible to make the games sub-forum into a Games Forum in it's own right?

Pretty please?

I'm not sure I'm seeing what you're seeing, so if you can walk me through the expected behavior and the behavior you're getting, I'd be happy to look into it further.

I've clicked on the last post in the topics listing (postlist.php) as denoted by the last poster's username and I get taken to the last post in the thread.

If I just click on the thread's subject link, it takes me to the first post in the thread (which it does on other forums I try too).

Also, you may try clicking on the "Mark All Read" option at the bottom of your profile page. This resets all the boards "read" pointers for you and will mark all messages read for your account (basically helping you start anew).

Hello Doc,

I'll try and explain, when someone has replied to a thread in the games forum it shows up on the boards as ie. One word game-pegasus. When you click on it on the main forum page it will take you to the very beginning of the thread.

When someone has replied to other forums and you click on the last poster on the boards it takes you to the right place but this does not happen with both of the sub-forums.

If you go straight into the sub-forum you can be taken to the right place in the thread. But not if you click on the last thread/poster on the main board.

Does this make sense?

Also no red number (on the main page) shows up to say that a new reply has been made in the sub-forum so you can't tell how many new replies there are in the sub-forum.

The red numbers do show up in the sub-forum but NOT on the main page.

Im still getting the same problem. If the post is on the main menu and I click it, then i get taken to the very forst post of the thread. Annoying when there are 30ish pages. Is someone gonna sort this?

My red numbers do reflect and "marking as read" does not clear them. This was the very first thing I tried.
