I thought ignore meant the person on the ignore list could not quote you or post in your threads. This does not seem to working well at all.

Ignore means you cant see them. They can still see you. If they are posting in your threads, you are actively doing stg to be able to see their posts.

Also if someone is on tapatalk, all bets are off.

Yes - I understand - but they should not be able to post in threads I start at all. And I thought they could not take and quote me in any thread.
And I would hope they find a way around the tapatalk hole. I would not have started a thread at all had I realized ignore did not work and I am trying to get the thread deleted.

Ignore is not absolute. Because we allow the use of Tapatalk (that helps usability for our mobile users), the Ignore function doesn't quite work well in terms of threads and people posting to them. Their posts should still be hidden from you though, if they are on your Ignore list.

I try to take notice if I see I can't post on someone's thread, it happens very rarely though. I try to remember that and not post in their threads if I am on Tapatalk. But no one is perfect and we forget things.

I'm still glad we have Tapatalk since it really makes things easier on phone users. But if you strongly suspect someone knows you have them on iggy and they bypass it by Tapatalk just because they can, I would sort of be upset.

I would also recommend, even if I know it can be hard, don't peak. Try to pretend the post isn't there. I know it is harder if someone else then quote THEM but if not... try to screen it out.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
