Hi there. What happens to me and everyone else is that the time out happens and the words can be lost. At this point I do not think your words are stored anywhere unless you saved them.

I do something that prevents my posts from being totally lost. Before I post I highlight all the text of my post and copy it (CTRL + C) and if I am timed out I can paste the text into a new window after I relog in. I am not sure of the exact time but I am guessing about 20 minutes before automatically logged out.

I moved this post to technical support because it seemed to be more appropriate to your question.

Ugh. I hate it when this happens. Has happened more than once. I must remember to copy.

I see at this moment when I am writing this reply that you only have 2 posts. if I remember right the first 5 posts dont automatically appear where you want them to. they go to the moderators, the moderators make sure the post is ok (not spam and following all the rules) then the moderators put the post where you wanted it to go.

after you have 5 posts if I remember right you will be able to see your posts right away.

I find that when I log in if I press the "remember me" button it doesn't seem to have done that for a while.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
