Is there a way that the word "homosexual" could be removed from the list of censored words in chat( the homo part is the issue)?Especially since offensive terms such as f----- and d---- are not censored...neither is "Hetero".

I agree. Another that gets lost is analyzed, because it has **** in the word, but we actually use analyzed a lot in chat and it gets censored every time.

I find it highly offensive that the word "homosexual" is censored. There should never have been a need for that. Also, I agree that "a-n-a-l" should be removed from both the chat censored word list and this forum's censored word list. It's an adjective for a body part. Also, it makes using the word "****-retentive" rather difficult. What if I'm merely trying to describe that particular aspect about somebody, or myself? What then?

Yes, it's kind of backwards that "a n a l" is censored but not penis or vagina.

Thank you for your suggestions. We've gone ahead and changed the banned keyword list, which no longer includes "homo."
Thank you also for your comments on our moderating. Always good to know we're appreciated...
