There is a subforum for psychotherapy, for medications, for other treatments and for selfhelp. However there isn't a subforum for hospitalization. People with stories or questions regarding hospitalization now often end up in the Psychotherapy forum, or in the appropriate disorder forum. It doesn't quite fit in the Psychotherapy forum in my opinion, and in the disorder forum it doesn't get all the reactions it could get.

Maybe hospitalization/inpatient could get its own forum in the Treatments part of this forum. Maybe this could be combined with PHP, IOP and other intensive stuff, or just stand on its own.

thanks for mentioning that, Breadfish~! i do think we need a forum for Hospitalizations, with one sub- for MH and one for Other Physical. it would be very nice to have a single place to look for when or if someone is going in, has been in, and what was their experience. i think "Other Treatments" would be a good place.

I think the Physical hospitalization-stuff can be adequately handled by the Health Support and Disabilities forum, as physical stuff isn't PC's main topic, but maybe other people think differently. Thanks for your input.
