Hi. I read through the FAQ section and tried to change my moods as indicated. It didn't work and my mood drop down is not displaying. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Did you go to the upper right hand corner of the forum page, where it says your screen name, when you last visited, and how many new private messages you have, if any? Underneath all of that should be a line that reads "My Mood" and then a mood should be displayed. Just click that and a drop down list of moods should display. Click on the mood of your choice and it should be the mood that displays in your posts, under your avatar and screen name and all of that.

Also, if may be helpful if we know what you OS is and what web browser you use, and if you have cleared your web cache recently.

In case you don't know what a cache is, it's just information from a website that your browser keeps in a file so it doesn't take a whole lot of time loading the site up when you revisit it. After a while, the browser can't save anymore information on the site and sometimes things on the site fail to load, especially if it's new information. Clearing out your cache every now and again refreshes your browser and allows new information on the site to be used and displayed.

You can clear out your cache under the options in your web browser. It's a bit different for each browser, so sharing with us what browser you use can help us to direct you to the right settings to be able to do this.

Hi...the last few times I've been here, I've wanted to change my mood (I no longer feel "Motivated".) But the drop-down list seems to have disappeared.

Or is it just me?

If you have any notifications, your mood will not show up for you. Like in mine at this time:

Welcome, sabby.
You last visited: Yesterday at 10:14 PM
Your Notifications: 4

If I clear all my notifications (read my pm's, vm's friend requests etc.), my mood option will show up again.
Thanks for this!

Hmm....it sounds like there may be a pm that was moved out of our inbox to another folder maybe? Make sure you check all your folders and if you find a pm that is in bold, then open it and it should reset your notifications. Just a thought and I hope I'm on the right track.
