I visited another members home page yesterday and there was NO tab titled "about me".

I thought we all had one, whether we chose to fill it out or not....

taking a guess here... some people use their cell phones to access psych central. maybe this affects it...

another guess... if someone does not fill out their profiles maybe their about me tab maybe it doesnt show up.

another guess sometimes the browsers I am using dont show up everything on the websites, especially if they are slow loading that day.

just some ideas... not really sure what causes it.

In checking out my "About me" tab looking for the possible settings, I clicked on "view.......as seen by everyone else" and it completely vanished on that setting..........then I hadn't entered anything in there anyway so maybe that could be why it didn't show up to others...........and why that member didn't have one showing up...........maybe.........

another possibility is that it's their, but because it's not filled out, it's not shown.

I don't know if empty about me sections are shown, but I suppose it makes sense

why show a section if it's actually empty

If a member chooses not to share any information the about me page should still show up but there will be no additional information.

Thanks possum. This one just didn't have that tab at all.....
