PC runs slowly for me. The entire site. I don't have the problem with other sites. There is no specific time when PC runs slowly; it occurs at all times.

It's never slow for me. Don't use proxies. Maybe your PC is throttling. This is why you need to do maintenance on it, or replace your computer every few years.

Hi Doc,

Thanks for chiming in , it has been slower than usual. However I can`t see a reason , no Flash or Java , only an active chat and that would not slow the site down.

If I could offer a reason I surely would , the only thing I can think of ( and it`s a GR8 thing ) , is that we matter so much to so many and are able to reach all thoughs in need.

On second thought , the site is just fine !!

It is still slow for me, especially when posting messages -- takes a long time between telling the system to post, and the post actually taking place.

Sometimes.

Note: testing this morning, I do not see any particular slowdown on the rest of the site. Just the forums.

But then, not always the forums either.

what i'm finding right now is, if you're in a section you can post to threads and reply without an issue

try and move sections, or leave the site, it takes forever

even loading the site takes a while
Thanks for this!

I'm not having this problem, but I used iPad. I have noticed a problem with accidently double posting lately. But it's not a huge problem.

We'll look into things further, but unfortunately the kind of feedback being provided in this thread isn't helping us to troubleshoot the possible issue any further, so we're going to close the thread.

Rest assured, we monitor site performance regularly externally with site speed monitors and other tools. When we're aware of a serious concern with accessibility, we will work to fix it. We will also be moving to new servers for the community by the end of the year, which should help with any intermittent problems.

Thanks for your continued support.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
