Is there a way to be notified when a member replies to my posts?

Yeah, go to your edit options, scroll down and you'll see subscribe to threads. From there you can determine if you also want email notification etc. Save changes at the bottom.

Edit options is in your profile. Go to your profile, and click on "My Profile" in the top left. Edit options is in the upper part of the side bar on the left.

Thank you very much for your help. I was able to see the list of my posts and threads if I go to my profile.

Now I am wondering whether the kind of notification that I am looking for does actually exists or not.

Is there a way to have a message sent to my e-mail address whenever somebody replies to a post in a thread that I subscribe to?

First, click on "My Profile"

Next, scroll down to "Settings & Options"

Next, click on "Edit Options"

To the right of Edit Options section is now "Messaging and Notification"

Within that is "Default Thread Subscription Mode" with a drop down that includes "Instant email notification".

Choose that and don't forget to "save changes" at the bottom of the page.

You should now receive notifications by email when someone posts to a thread you are subscribed to or have posted yourself.

I think you might be going to your public profile page, this is not your 'My Profile' which is top left of the main forum page. Then follow the instructions above.

It is also explained well in the FAQ https://forums.psychcentral.com/faq....3_user_profile

OK thanks! I'll try to navigate to that when I am not so sleepy.
Thanks for this!

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
