This might be a dumb question, but I know squirrels with more
technical skills than me. I don't have a comp right now and access
PC with my phone. It has a great camera, so can I use it to send pics
to my friends and do I need USB sticks?

Yes, you can use it to take pics & send them to friends by email or MMS (if your phone service supports MMS texts). You'd store the pics on the phone's memory, or an SDcard (if it supports them).

However, to post a pic on PC, I think that you'd have to first upload it from your phone to an online host (google drive, flickr), unless the albums function on your vistiors page allows you to upload to PC (never used it, yet).

USB sticks probably won't work directly with the phone, as it's designed to act like a USB stick itself when connected to a computer.

Of course, I didn't understand most of what you said. Asked about the sticks because the company making my business cards mentioned
them. But they did say I would have to use a comp and the stick would be used to upload the photo's, right? (Having photo's of my art work
put on the cards.
I believe my phone can use one of those cards. Between the instruction
booklet and the techs at the phone company, I should be able to figure it out.
Now, if I could just figure out that darn avatar...

USB sticks are really portable storage - you copy your artwork to one from a computer, give the stick to your card printer & they can make the cards using the artwork you stored on the stick.


Phones also can act as portable storage, like a USB stick, if you connect them to a computer with a USB cable.


Notice that the plug on the ends of the USB stick & the cable where it goes to the computer are the same, whereas the plug on other end of the cable going the phone is much smaller - the USB socket on your phone is designed to be used with that cable, rather than to connect a USB stick to.

If you are looking to put a picture into your album here, at PC, you can upload from your phone. I navigate this site using my phone, more often than not.

If you are choosing to use some type of photo storage site and are curious how to translate photos into a forum such as PC, look for a place that offers BB Code links.

If using Tapatalk, they provide a photo share option such as what I'm posting to your question.

Thank you so much for the excellent illustrations and instructions. My
brain may be too ancient to understand this magic--think of someone at The Painted Caves witnessing a butane lighter for the first time.
But I have old computer boards suitable for sacrifice and some magic dust from Stevie Nicks cape. Perhaps I can skin a squirrel or two and make a potion that will fire up the old neurons!
