Well... I assume this may be what you're referring to?

Sorry, I don't know how one would go about disabling it.

That doesn't seem to be it. However now it also seems to not be showing on my profile. However pt. 2, I did get 2 emails about it saying that someone quoted me in one of my threads. It just felt unnecessary. Not sure what was (or is?) going on.
