you can delete your own posts for only a limited amount of time. go to your post that you want to delete and check to see if the edit button still appears down in the area where you will also see the words reply, hugs and thanks. if the edit button is gone then you can not delete your post by yourself.

to delete your post after the time limit look to the left of the post where it says your name and down under there location your profile information. at the bottom in that area are some little buttons. one usually a red triangle says report when toy put your curser on it. click report then fill in the space why you want to delete your post. then submit. then this report goes to all the moderators, the moderators that work that forum board where your post is will read the report and if possible do the deleting of the post.

Here's a link to the FAQ on this subject:

https://forums.psychcentral.com/faq....q_editingposts

It's the second section from the bottom of the page:

"How can I edit my own post? How can I delete my own post?"

Within the "window of opportunity", so to speak, you can delete your own post by first clicking on "Edit". The screen will come up where you can either edit what you wrote or delete it. Instructions on how to delete are provided. Once the "window of opportunity" has passed, you have to personal message a moderator as is noted in the FAQ. Hopefully that's the information you were looking for.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
