Is it just my issue, or does the appearance of Psych Central look different this morning when others view it on their smart phones? I don't recall making any changes to the view and all other sites I visit through my phone look normal. This current view I'm seeing of Psych Central through my phone looks beyond awful!

Is there a way for me to restore the view I have had yesterday and in the past?

Mine is the same I thought I pressed something. All writing seems smaller and squashed in.

Me too. I closed mine and opened a new one. It opened normal BUT AFTER I CHANGED THE OPTION STYLE AWAY FROM MOBILE., but some of the options had changed. This might have been because i tried to change some options when it was in option mobile, which appears to be a new style.

@unaluna , how did you do these things, step by step, if you're willing to write that up? I found a "view" section through my profile Control Panel, but didn't see anything there about how to rid myself of this new view or switch it from Mobile view setting to any other. Forgive me if I seem like a technological dummy.

Note: I'm typing this note while on my laptop. The Psych Central website looks normal when accessing it using my laptop. Just not my smart phone.

I don't have any advice for you (because I always use the forum on my desktop), but I hope you get it sorted

Looks different to me too. I just use Tapatalk to access the forums... looks fine there.

Unfortunately, despite logging out and then logging in, it still looks like it did earlier this morning. I'll try again tomorrow. If it doesn't change after logging out and logging in tomorrow, and there is no other suggestion for me, I may cut down on visiting Psych Central from my smart phone and only visit from my laptop. I could try again later in the future, as well.

If this is a "test", my feedback is that the new mobile phone version looks user unfriendly. I was perfectly happy with the old look. I'm glad the look hasn't changed when viewing Psych Central on my laptop.

1. hit my profile
2. At the bottom is a choice for style. You will see mobile as the selected choice. Pick any other!
3. Save the changes.

4. Close the window, open a new window. NOW it should be changed, BUT other stuff might be different, like the time and the color of the screen.

I haven’t found the choice for style option yet. This is disconcerting. Ack.

@unaluna , thanks so much! I did manage to restore the general look of the site from the past, but not in the same colors that it used to be. The "Psych Central" look I was accustomed to is still not presenting well. I ended up choosing "Spring". It now looks fine on my phone other than the fact that it is now green and not blue, and there is a tulip at the top. I can live with that, but I would prefer the blue because it is a little more visually appealing for long-term use.

@BirdDancer Great! Once you get OFF the mobile option, you can re-choose default style, and it will give you the nice blue again.
