I reviewed both the rules and the guidelines and could not find an answer to a question I have.

I would like to post one "coping with emotions" forum about the struggles I'm having related to Covid19, the shelter in place orders, just generally how I'm feeling.

My question is, would it be okay to post in other forums to let my friends know about the post in "coping?" Few of my friends visit that forum. I'd just like to point it out to them. The post would be something like "hey folks I started a thread in coping and would l I'd likeyour input"

Generally, no.... It would clutter up the forums if we allowed every member to do this with every thread they thought "of interest" to members of other forums. If you have one, single forum that you consider your "home" forum, we can make a one-time exception and allow a posting to that single forum that references the new thread.

You are also more than welcomed to reach out to some members privately (via PM) you feel might contribute to such a discussion.

You can also tag them in the thread that you start.

You can "tag" someone by typing the "@" symbol and then their name. Like this @ lizardlady (although without the space) so it's like this @lizardlady.

Lol, I thought about mentioning that unaluna doesn't like to be tagged, but then I didn't want to offend you!
