When I decided to erase some 2,000 plus old messages, I lost my ability to send and receive PM's. It's like I have to reset everything in order to do so, and don't know how. They talk about folders, etc., it's very complicated for a person of my age and lack of computer knowledge.

I hate to have to give up my ability to send PM's completely.

Hi, muncie, I'm sorry your Private Messaging function isn't working. Perhaps you could tell us:

1. Something specific that you want to do (for example, send me a PM) that doesn't appear to work right.

2. Where you start from and what you do (for example, you click on "FooZe" at the left of this reply; you get a pulldown menu; and in the menu you click on "Send a private message to FooZe".)

3. What happens next. Does a new page come up with a box where you can type your message? Do you get some kind of status message instead? If you get a status message, what does the message say? Can you highlight the text and copy-paste it here?

4. Staying with the same example: if you are able to type a message, what happens when you click on "Submit message?"

I just sent you a test message and the count of messages in your Inbox did go up as a result -- so at least something seems to be working. Do you now see a notification at the upper right of this page, under "Welcome, muncie"? If so, what happens when you click on the link?

Hey muncie,

I'm hoping this has worked out for you.
