Hi,
At some point since the forum switched over, the View All My Posts link that used to be accessible direct from your user profile has stopped working. It now takes me to a page which simply says 'Account suspended.' I'm using Mozilla Firefox, v.85.0.0, on a Windows 10 machine. I would be grateful if somebody could clarify what has happened. Thanks, LOTT __________________ 'Somewhere up above the great divide Where the sky is wide, and the clouds are few A man can see his way clear to the light 'You have all the grace you need for today, and today is all that matters.' - Steve Austin |

I just got that "Account Suspended" page when I clicked on an old link to something at "forums.psychcentral.com". It doesn't mean your account has been suspended, just that there's no longer any such domain as forums.psychcentral.com.
For a while after we moved from Psych Central to My Support Forums, we were getting redirected automatically. We don't expect those redirects to keep working indefinitely, however. Links generated by the My Support Forums software -- found in member profiles, forum index pages, search results, etc. -- should all be current now, or if they're not, someone's working on them. Links in most older posts, in PMs, etc. are not going to get updated. If you want to get to an obsolete URL after the redirect no longer works, you may need to fix the URL in the location bar yourself. I was able to get around the problem today by changing the URL by hand so that it said "mysupportforums.org" instead of "forums.psychcentral.com".. . |

So what you are saying is, this particular shortcut will be corrected for all at some point hopefully in the near future since its more or less a menu item, but we might run into a similar situation from within our posts or PM's, and thats how to fix it ourself:
From Forums.pyschcentral.com Change com to org Remove .psychcentral Add mysupport (at the beginning) To Mysupportforums.org (Sorry, i need stuff spelled out step by step!) And thanks fooze! |

All the links on your profile page (such as "View all posts by...") should be correct by now. If it turned out that any still weren't, we'd want to know about it. I guess there's a remote possibility that your browser could take you to a cached copy of your profile page with old information (in which case you might need to refresh the page and/or clear your cache). Your formula for editing a URL looks right to me; at least it matches how I remember doing it a few hours ago. |

http://forums.psychcentral.com/subscription.phpIt takes me to an "Account Suspended" page with this address showing: http://forums.psychcentral.com/cgi-sys/suspendedpage.cgiI take out the parts in red and add the parts in green... http://mysupportforums.psychcentral.comorg/subscription.php...to get this... http://mysupportforums.org/subscription.php...which does take me to the page I wanted. If I tried to do that same edit to the address that comes up for the "Account Suspended" page... http://mysupportforums.org/cgi-sys/suspendedpage.cgi... I'd just get the "Account Suspended" page that's supposed to come up if mysupportforums.org ever stops existing at whatever facility hosts it. |

Got it - if I add our current home 'mysupportforums dot org' to the URL, it works as intended. Please could you delete the post?

The "View my posts" on your profile page was a template problem with some old links. The links have been fixed. Thanks for letting us know!

Anything I do on my Android, I have to do and undo about three times before I get it right. If I go a few months without doing it every day, I have to figure it out again from scratch. |
