sorry i hope its ok to make suggestions, i not sure of the tech side of things so i dont know if its even a thing that can be done here
i remember on one forum i was on, there was part of the forum where the member who started a thread could see the thread and the forum staffs could see the thread, it was used as a way for members to contact the staffs so that members could say stuff to the staffs without using the pm system or publically putting up what they wanted to ask, for example if one member was getting bullied or something by another member they could put everything in that thread and the staffs could discuss it elsewhere with each other idk exactly how it works cause i stupid it was basically so if one staffs was unavailable something could be dealt with without having to wait for that staffs to come online if not allowed to do suggestions please forgive me and just cause the number three of anything encourages three in my head here's another guy hiding under the chair |

If it were possible to report someone for insulting language or careless talking about me and others. I would like that!

you can using the report window button thing just click where it says report (you can try with my post that you are currently reading if you want practice and the staffs won't get annoyed) i think its only posts that can be reported though i dont think there is a report window thing in the messages idk though cause i stupid one example of where this idea could get used is if something happens in chat someone can post in the idea section "this happened in this room on this date and this time" and that way someone can look it up straight away and it won't be reliant on the mod or admin coming online and seeing a pm, it can get looked into much quicker its probably not going to happen but i cant get killed for mentioning it i think |

I do worry about stress and also depression is my secondary disorder. Stress plays a role and I don’t mind that pointed out to me but bipolar disorder is primary, depression secondary.

Thank you for your suggestion.
In order for someone to reply immediately, that would suggest we have paid staff available. Since this is a volunteer-run forum, we do not have such staff. If we had paid staff available 24/7, it would definitely make sense. Thanks again. __________________ Don't throw away your shot. |

If someone violates guidelines in chat when a moderator is not present, take note of the date and time and pm that information to someone on the Community Support Team. But as Doc John said, because we are all volunteers, we won't be able to respond immediately.

ok do we send it to a few of the staffs just in case? For example if one of the staffs has a family emergency and disappears for a few weeks so as a result a chat violation doesnt get seen until chat history has deleted itself unless more than one staffs gets the pm? its just so i know what to do if i'm in chat and something happens so i dont get into a troubles for doing the wrong thing i not wanting to do the wrong thing if anything does happen in chat when i'm in there that needs attention and one staffs disappears cause of a family emergency or whatever |

I didn’t expect an insult or attack so startled, I quit every group I was in except my Zendo which I have been a member for almost 8 years and attacking just doesn’t happen there because there is at least 20 clergy and someone is watching all the time. Attacks just don’t happen!!!

i hope its ok to say, the forum they did this on they was all volunteers and it just meant that someone could deal with something within 48 hours without missing private pm messages, it was their preferred way of doing things sorry i understand its a no, was just trying to explain it a bit cause i might not of been making sense |

What we, the regular members, see in chat may not remain, but admins have copies of the chat logs, which are never deleted. But yes, you are free to pm more than one moderator. |

In my experience some insulting and inappropriate behaviors/comments/topics do happen (as everywhere online) but not very frequently and if it’s reported, eventually people will learn to behave if they want to belong to online forums. So just keep reporting and it will get resolved.
