sorry if this makes no sense, me and rewin came up with this idea last night, i not sure if chat computer is already able to do this i not tried
is it possible for him to be able to give the definition of words? like if we say "define apples" (for example) to him in chat could he give the definition of whatever word we put in chat? i'm just thinking it might help those of us with learning difficulties to be able to have words we are not sure about breifly explained to us, then if we are still confused we can go onto google - or whatever search engine we happen to use - to get a more better explaination? sorry this idea maybe makes no sense or is a bad idea willowtigger shush |

If I may - since I have been named:
In the chat system, there is a digital robot - called Freudbot. Said software is, if I found it correctly, provided as-is by the software developer of the chat system. However, if I got the type of bot correct (named by producer "TheGodFather"), I would like to suggest to @DocJohn if it would be possible, feasable, and/or okay to enable following functions too: - Converter for °C/°F as well as imperial and metric units (please?) - Converter for common currencies (if a subset possible: USD, EUR, GBP, AUD shall suffice) In reference to willowtiggers query in the opening post, I seemed to recalled (and upon checking validated) that the bot-software is capable to query Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary 1913 for definitions, which I think is a good idea. Kindest regards, rewin |

Ahm - quick question @ admins (mentioned at the end):
Did you guys edit the bot's functions? He now goes haywire on certain words ... and because the backend service does not (longer) exist, throws a "Page not found" error that it displays. I mean, I am not complaining having asked in the first place ... but goading the bot into that error has somewhat developed into a sport now. @DocJohn @FooZe @bluekoi |

its not a language I am fluent, let alone anything rated - but if I recall correctly, it roughly translates "A thousand thanks, doctor." - and of course, just add your thanks too. |

Dear @DocJohn
Thank you for acting upon our suggestion - however, there seems to be a minor issue. The bot is now capable to convert °F <--> °C, but having a bit of a weird encoding issue, I think: Quote:

I am sorry to double post, but:
Whoever from the administration was gracious to fix that encoding issue with the temperature, I would like to thank you, unknown person! I just discovered the fix, and am quite happy just now! THANK YOU |
