Ok thanks doc John it seems to be a better help that it keeps redirecting to - without me pressing anything on the touch screen phone, not sure what that is or if it's supposed to be trying to redirect itself, I not changed any settings on my phone so I just wondered if it was forum end, maybe it's a internet's brainfart idk or a internet ghost or something idk

Are you sure you are not pressing the better help button by accident? I hit it about every other time when i refresh my screen by hitting My Profile. Fat fingers!

I find it much harder to do not only this site but anything on a phone. I'm still learning and the screen is so tiny, it's easy to click the wrong thing. I do it all the time, and I get the wrong letter all the time when trying to type.

A stylus helps but it depends. Right now I'm on a borrowed laptop (from the library) but usually I have to use my phone. At least I can get online with it, because before that I relied on the libraries. And when they all shut down in 2020, I was cut off. Abruptly and for over a year.....

Yeah even using the report window thing on a forum (any forum) is hard on a phone

i probably reported my own dumb arse more than once when trying to report someone else, when using my phone (on any forum)

i tend to report things like spam etc on forums if i see it, its rare for me to report other stuff unless its obviously not right (by this i mean if it will harm other members of forum)

I've done that on other sites so I know what you mean. Honestly I don't understand why so many people want to literally live their lives on these tiny things, even watch TV or movies on them! The battery isn't very robust either. I find it easier to post using Tapatalk but it seems to run the battery down faster. I can't win here.

The younger generation is way more skilled and savvy on them, and they can even text really fast using two fingers. I can't do that.

i've probably reported my own dumb arse here, as well as other forums, when meaning to let the staff know about something someone else did ........

I use the Tapatalk app on my phone for this. It makes everything easy without all the problems.

As for mobile websites, it helps that I cam zoom in using my fingers. I only load this forum in my web browser on my phone if I'm answering a poll.

I'm not young either but basically with apps, a lot of people of many ages (even my elderly mother and father) can watch movies easily. She prefers it to TV, though it's pretty easy to use Bluetooth to "broadcast" a movie on a TV so you get the big screen experience while not being limited to free TV channels or cable TV.

When I used to live near a library while I was being abused. I really appreciated that it had a lounge area for people surfing the Internet on their phone, and tables with power outlets for people with laptops.

I don’t even know the difference between a mobile website and simply going to a site on my phone. All I know is that apps are designed to be used with phones specifically. I don't want more apps on my phone. I hate the word now.

My bank is pushing their app on me. I’d have to create yet another username and password, as I feel I have a hundred already. As long as I can talk to a human I do, especially after the last two years.Has a something changed?

What I don’t like about Tapatalk is I can’t see visitor messages or notifications, and I can’t hug people. But I can do thanks. Also it doesn’t show who posted the thanks also. If I want to view hugs received or given, I go to the site. Also it doesn't show threads in boldface if there's new activity, like on the site. I don't know the difference between "participated" and "subscribed" on there.

So I basically have to open both the site and Tapatalk.Has a something changed?. If I zoom in something is cut off. I’m not one of “many people” so anything I do on here takes effort.Has a something changed?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I had the same problem myself with my phone especially in the chat.
