it's not so much annoying, it's more- well I know about it, I don't need to see the message on every page |

I dont see it. Maybe it's the "skin" you're in - ya know, desert sand, default style (mine) whatever they call them.
The choice ("Forum Skin") is in the last big box under Edit Options. |

Hi there!
Just tried something - so no in-depth analysis yet. But with the "normal looks" of the forum, on the right side, abeam the text, there is an (X) This one does, so it seems, hide it for some time. Same mechanism, it seems, also for the special message for this forum here. As I said, that is what I infer from about 2-3 minutes of "work", and not being privy of any details (technical or otherwise) of MSF. I hope I was able to help. rewin |

Without any real testing: The information, if MSF shall show some/all of those banners is most likely in the cookies - which are at your personal computer/device within the browser. If the information is lost (i.e. settings in browser), MSF has to revert to default settings - which is showing ALL banners again.
As I said - no testing, no investigation - but that is the "most feasable" and economical way to implement it. And yes - I can be grossly wrong! |

I use the black format because it's easy on my eyes. I don't think I ever see a fundraiser thing. But then, I wouldn't mind if I did see it.
