Error message on the forum leader's page

I went onto the page to view who the forum staff are, the forum leader page at the bottom of the forum, that opens fine but when I click on a profile (I was trying to open BlueFish2019's profile cause I'm trying to show him something funny), it comes up with a big red page and it says:

@BlueFish2019 i was trying to show you this on your profile page thing and i cannot do it cause it won't open your page

oh and up beside this forum's address bar thing, there's a red explanation mark and it says dangerous next to it

willowtigger shush now she get the blame for it saying it

edit: just trying to get screen shot photos if it does it, so admin can see i'm not lying

the red one is when i try opening bluefish's profile at all

another edit: not convinced the red image works properly and willowtigger get the blame

bluefish your not a dangerous so i dont understand why the forum keeps calling you a dangerous

Thanks for letting us know. The image that someone was trying to display on that member's visitor page was on a site that has since been taken over by a malicious company trying to cause problems.

We do not limit our members from linking and displaying images from anywhere else online. The problem is, we're 20+ years old, and many of those sites simply don't last that long. When taken over by someone else, they are often repurposed for malicious purposes. Image sites are particularly attractive for this, since people link to them from all over -- and especially forums like ours.

When you let us know you find such a problem, we will remove the offending image and link, and that'll make the warning in the web browser go away. Thanks again.
