Is there a way to turn sound on in chat?

Hi there,

I'm wondering whether there is a way to turn sound on in chat.

For instance, could there be a 'ping' when someone writes something in chat?

This is a feature I've seen in the past on other forums.

Reason is that oftentimes, you wait in chat for others to show up and then work on something else in another screen in the meantime. Having a sound feature on chat would notify you when someone comes on to chat...

Hi @TheGal click on ... upper left
and wheel gear settings and there are option for sound
I tried to test it but no one was active in the chat.
That is the only place I know of

I don't have the wheel gear setting to the upper left, or anywhere for that matter.

All I have is the three dots to change rooms.

Am I blind?

Click on 3 dots ... upper left scroll down to the bottom and there you will see a bunch of icons click on the gear. I have had no way to test them to see if they work but there are audio controls if you click on gear.

I just tested it with Freudbot by typing 'haiku'.
