Is it only possible to insert gifts in replies to posts? I was going to add one to a post starting a thread. Couldn't find a way to do it. I'm tired tonight and might be brain dead. Spent an hour looking for an answer and couldn't find the answer.

So 1) is it possible to add a gift to the initial post in a thread 2) if it's possible how the heck do you do it?

This feature has been added. We always intended to add it to the new thread screen, but just hadn't gotten around to it. Thanks for the reminder!
