I’m looking to join other sites as I no longer feel that welcome or supported on here anymore most of the time. I feel like I’ve been judged harshly by a lot of people on here.

I have a lot of issues & am a very sensitive person. I can’t deal with anymore stress & negativity in my life. It’s clear that some people are frustrated with me as well.

I’ll probably take a break from posting anywhere for awhile & focus on looking for work more. I’d appreciate any suggestions.

Idk if I’ll bother posting anything on here again or not.

I’m sorry you didn’t find the support you were hoping for. Honestly I’d be careful posting personal stuff on the internet generally especially if you are sensitive. In my experience this is one of the gentler places and it is moderated.

That said, maybe if there’s a particular concern you have (like autism say) there are sites specific to issues which have forums. Maybe worth a Google.

honestly, by best advice is to google exactly what you are looking for.

"PTSD forum", or " depression forum", or " women forum", or what ever.

did you know if you use the quotes it just matches those terms

Well it’s given that you have to be careful everywhere and can run into toxic stuff pretty much anywhere. On Reddit, in church, on a street, in a store etc Solution is to not go to toxic places-online and irl. If you go and realize it’s toxic, just leave. I have zero toxic experiences on Reddit. I ran into some weird comments from strange people. But it’s no different from real life. We live among people.

I feel that Divine nailed it. I hate to say this for myself - I have come across a lot of toxicity in practically every avenue in my life. The jobs, family, some online forums, and especially the neighbors at where I live. Unfortunately, wherever you go, whenever there are people involved, there will always be conflicts. That's just life.

I've had some rude replies on here a few times. What really hurt was I felt like I was trying to be helpful. Well, I guess I've been guilty of being like that myself, too. At this board, there doesn't seem to be the trolls like at other places I've been at. I don't know if this place filters them out or the trolls don't feel like coming on here.

Best to you Jesyka in finding a good place. My issue on here is there isn't nearly as much participation as it used to be and not as much support as I used to get. I've seen this happen at other boards. I feel like this is still a fairly nice place to come to.

Perhaps it’s better not to post anything that personall online period from now on. It seems like nothing good ever comes out of it from my owm personal experience usually.

Thanks. Sorry to hear about your bad experiences on here. I think that from now on it’s best to not talk about anything to personal online anymore.

Especially since people can usually get away with saying & doing whatever they want most of the time

Even though there are fewer trolls & mean people on here than there are in general, I do not appreciate being told that I’m delusional, irrational, irresponsible, or called other things like that for not agreeing with other people about things or for seeing things differently from other people.

Obviously I’ve made some mistakes in the past, but that doesn’t mean that I’m always irresponsible or irrational or that it’s somehow my fault that bad things keep happening to me.

I don’t appreciate the implications.

If by some chance I do come back here after taking a break, I probably won’t reveal anything to personal like I have in the past.

I’ll be super careful from now on. I have attracted way to many crazy people online. No more. I ignored the last few DM requests on reddit. I thought I blocked them. Weird.
