I did internalize it feeling badly that they just didn’t like me for some reason. But, as bad as that feels, I suppose that is okay. Not everyone has to like me. I can try to be more kind so not to get put on ignore (online and irl).

Thanks for being brave in bringing up the emotions around this, felineangel.
I've never put you on ignored - just saying in case anyone thinks i did, I've only put someone else on ignored for a short time after the member in question said something that felt to me like a attack (and it still feels even now like they were attacking me)

but anyways my list has been empty for a while now and I'm not currently using it, I want to switch it off but don't know how to switch ignored list off, don't see anything in my settings for switching my own list off

unless i'm being a dumbarse

There is no limit on the size of one's personal ignore list.

People should not speculate about why a post or thread doesn't get a lot of replies. It usually has nothing to do with a person's ignore list and is just a result of people either not seeing the thread or not having anything they think will add to it.

People also shouldn't speculate about why another member is on an ignore list. It is a self-help tool we provide to all members to ensure they have a safe experience here. Speculating about other members and their motivations is not in keeping with our community guidelines.

I've known it to not be used as self-help tool, its been used against me previously literally just to accuse me of stuff cause like i said last time it began with "you" here, (last time i saw it) and cause it began with "you" it was used as a way of being against me cause at the time, the message began with "you"

and like i said previously "you" is accusing

just saying, not trying to start a fight with admin or anything by posting this

felineangel learned years ago not to take on a admin cause she can't win

she'll post in third person now cause dissassoctiations and posting in third person mean she can't get anything done to her

tried to post this and it opened a advert instead, felineangel broke it and she'll get accused of breaking the internets now

I agree. It’s very confrontational. This is why when asking a neighbor to politely turn down their tv, as an example, I don’t use the word YOU. You play your tv too loud. Instead, I say the walls are so thin, I need to get up early, they want to maintain privacy, maybe a deal can be made, etc.

This site could say “Unfortunately this option is not available.”

And I don’t see how it could be anything other than personal. It minimizes it. It’s like saying it isn’t personal cigarette smoking bothers someone. In that case it isn’t personal, it’s the smoke.

Is it possible for a ignored list to get literally full?

Hmmm....looks like some good tips in here.
