So this is a new thing that is happening at least on my phone. Don't k ow if it is MSF or my phone internet but when I have been on MSF & then just go to a different app on my phone, I get logged off here every time . It never used to do this Only started making me log on every time yesterday so obviously I wonder what changed cause I am doing everything the same as usual

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. However, I'm also sorry to report that nothing's changed on our end. Are you sure you're checking the "Remember me" box? Outside of trying to clear your browser's cookies and passwords, not sure what else to suggest.

Maybe when I logged back in the first time I forgot the "remember me". Not sure how I got logged off the first time but will definitely check if that is checked after I leave & come back. I don't recall checking that when I logged back in....THANK YOU

I’ve had this problem for some time now. I’m doing the right things like checking the “remember me” box. I do this since I don’t share my phone. If I leave the site idle for a certain amount of time, I will get kicked out and have to log in again. It does remember what screen or thread I was on but other than that, I have to sign in again.
It’s annoying but I’m not tech savvy and don’t know how to fix it. The amount of time of inactivity that causes it varies of course. ——— Posted directly on site using iPhone __________________ Call me "owl" for short! Hmmm....looks like some good tips in here. Yes, I am not sure what caused mu logout the first time yesterday. Had been browsing MSF then went to another app on my phone & when I went back to look at MSF again I had been logged out. Waa strange as it hadn't happened before

I have noticed it does it to me if I run through a VPN, it will log me out left and right. I don't use one and it never logs me out, which doesn't bother me. I don't see this site as a threat, so I don't need one anyway for being logged in here. I mentioned it to my other friend, who works with computers, and is also somewhat paranoid. He was like someone could get your geolocation, I just looked at him and replied; "That would be brilliant, come to the shooting state, and bother a combat veteran that is also a registered gunsmith. I somehow think that is not going to happen, not sure why the VPN could mess with with one being authenticated. "D**n it Jim I'm a doctor not a computer scientist."

No use of VPN here though being politically vocal on other sites it might be wise these days. Lol....I was an old days computer scientist (70's -90's) when we programmed hardware with assembly language on chips. I only guess at new technology & it takes me forever to figure it out. Lol....sometimes quicker to ask than to take the time to figure it out __________________ Leo's favorite place was in the passenger seat of my truck. We went everywhere together like this.
