hi.

I am looking to create my own social forum (one of the ones at the bottom, like @jesus's feet etc)

I was wondering how I could do it, and if someone of my status (newer, not so many posts), could create a group.

I thought about asking for this particular subforum as a suggestion, but I decided against and go down the root of creating my own

@emily1890 I will defer to someone else to answer your question. I am jus answering as a member not in an official way as a moderator.

Here is an easy alternative that would give you instant access to the members of a social group because starting one from scratch is difficult in the sense of trying to get enough members to have meaningful interactions.

Alternative to starting a new social group:
Find a social group that is closely aligned to the topic you wish to cover
Create a new thread with the title you would give to a social group
Start posting and let any people know about your thread that you regularly chat with in the MSF forums.

As far as I know that would be simple and easy to do and if it was highly successful you could then have a following that would make a social group have good levels of interatctions.

@emily1890 yes check it out and see and if you find one request to Join. It may also be wise to see when the last post was if that was visible to try to get an active Social Group.
