please can you tell me why each time i sign in using my username and password i get the 'thankyou for logging in message including my user name' instantly followed by the previous page telling me I am logged in as a guest? I then put my details in a second time and get logged in that time, no i have not put the wrong password in, it happens every time for the past few days.
is this a double check system, making doubly sure i am me or what?
Thanks for this!

I'm not sure. It may have something to do with your computer settings. Do you click the 'remember me' box when logging in? For me that often helps me stay logged in. You just have to remember to log out then when you are done if you are using a public computer or other people use your computer.

yellowted, it sounds like a cookies problem in your browser. It sporadically happens to me as well.
