When I go to edit journal I get an error saying it can't open the oj directory, and also on the index page it doesn't show the dates above the posts.

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Bob

Two things...

1. Directory permissions need to be set properly. If it can't open a certain directory, that means the Web server user can't get into that directory. Follow the instructions on changing directory permissions.

2. Time and dates are dependent upon whether your system supports certain date functions and the /bin/date program. If it's NT, it's going to be different.

Folks, you need to post at least an operating system that you're trying to install OJ on in order to get intelligent feedback help from me. Without some basic information about your server, I can be of little assistance.

John
