Sorry if this has been answered already, I might've missed it. But, do we still have the option to view favorite forums only? That was a very important tool for me.
Thanks for this!

Nope, you've not missed it that I've seen. Good question.

No, there is no way of viewing specific forums from your user CP. That said, you can subscribe to certain forums so that you receive notice of new posts/threads, etc. Also, you can collapse sections (i.e. mental health support, general). However, you couldn't view any of the forums in that section.

If you're having an experience that viewing a certain forum is directly hindering your experience here, it's possible that the forum could be removed from your view (I do know that it can be set that you couldn't respond, etc., but I'm not sure that it would remove it from your view...I'll have to investigate further on that).

I'll do some more reading and testing and get back with you in PM. Can you PM me with the forum you're having difficulty with, if there is a specific forum? We might be able to work with that, but then again, I'm not entirely sure yet.

I have difficulty with more than one forum (and that varies)

I doubt that we are the only two people here who are missing this useful tool. (((( kd )))) just my opinion.

Sorry orange for the hijack, I had been thinking of asking the same question..

I don't think another thread is necessary, fuzzy. It's all on-topic.

When having difficulties with many forums, one might want to consider collapsing entire sections that might not feel safe in the moment (knowing they might feel better in just a while), or avoid opening ones we even suspect might trigger or upset.

As mentioned above, if there's one specific forum, that might be able to be changed but I'm not sure about the view at all...not at all. That said, *if* it were doable, it would be permanent and not something that could be changed on more than an occasion or two.

What I am wondering though, is if V-Bulletin has a program to do this sort of thing, and if not, if one could be written for it...to add to user CP's. Just as forum sections can be collapsed, possibly it can be set up that individual forums can as well...it might even be easily done? DocJohn will have to answer that one.

All good questions and concerns that we've run across in the past...

There's quite a few forums but they vary by day and they're all over the place.

There were days back at the old homestead that I would open up my favorite forums and only be looking at four.
