i wish there were a forum here for mental health advocacy. i know it wouldn't be very active but it would frame the issue well and might precipitate further response.
last night i wrote a letter to msnbc about something said about depressed people in the context of a particular politician. I cannot decide on an appropriate venue here at the forums to publish a copy. yeah, i know, i should get my own blog and stop whining about community response because this is a supportive community and not a clubhouse for schizophrenics.
I don't know the answer to this. I certainly did not come here myself to delegate authority to others and get ordered about. I don't like opening that can of worms.
I just wish i could do something more than type hugs to people. it's the guy in me.

Thanks for this!

How about in general or you can search out one of DocJohn's many blogs on the subject and post your letter as a comment? TC!
