I'm having some difficulties also, with pages not updating etc. I'm sure it will take time to work through all the glitches. (Aren't we all glad DocJohn took his vacation so he's refreshed enough to do this? )

Code still isn't working on the Groups board. Everything runs together, too. SIGH!

Smilies on the right don't work in PMs, either. I can see them, but when I click on them nothing happens except the cursor disappears from the PM. Let's see what happens with the pop-up... It refreshed the page but I didn't lose the post? NO SMILIES. Weird stuff!I can't see where the smilie shows on the subject line. GGRRRRR
Hmmm... it did once I submitted the post...
WEIRD! Now when I edit, all the codes show! And if you remember what the code is for smilies, they show up.

ARGH!! I went ahead and changed all my setting enabling everything on my Internet Options. Absolutely NOTHING changed here on this site... except that I kept getting a warning that my computer was at risk. I changed TWO security settings.I've asked Admin for help through PM and have been ignored there as well as here. WHAT THE HECK??? It's not like I'm always asking for ANY kind of help!I would have loved to increase the font size on the previous paragraph but that isn't working. I would have loved to have it appear in bold red letters. That doesn't work, either!Am I gonna have to throw a big, harry hissy fit to get some attention here??? DAMMIT!!!!

I've also gone through my settings here... NOTHING! Who else has IE 7??

As you know, we don't have technical full time support staff here. Most of what you get is me, when I have a free moment to troubleshoot individual's individual issues.

We always suggest a few things for members after they've changed any browser settings. Clear your web browser cache. Clear your cookies for this site (forums.psychcentral.com as well as psychcentral.com). Close down all browser windows and restart.

The challenge is, of course, not being able to see what you see or replicate the problems in MSIE 7 here. I can only do so much with what information is provided here, but in no way can I guarantee I can help you fix all problems. And certainly not at 2:33am.

When the cursor disappears (or in my case it jumps off the message entering box), just start typing again. The letters usually appear in the right place.

It was all due to the fact that I updated to IE 7. That's when the ship hit the sand. I've uninstalled it and at least this site is back to normal including not being able to see some of the smilies. I can live with that.

BUT NOW... I have to figure out why hubby's account on our computer is unaccecible.
