Hi, first of all, thank - you for a great script. I have installed it on my site and it works fine and I am more than impressed with it's capabilities. However, I am slightly concerned with the speed it operates at on my site. The path to my POD www.thepurpleweb.com/cgi-bin/cgi.pod takes on average 25 seconds to load! compared to other up and running versions this does seem very slow! I don't have the mod_perl script installed on my server and looking at the 200+ files it contains, it looks like a while before I will! Please, please could some kind soul point me in the right direction... Much appreciated.

Hi Mike,
Corrected path <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.thepurpleweb.com/cgi-bin/pod.cgi>http://www.thepurpleweb.com/cgi-bin/pod.cgi</A>. (The file extension cgi was transposed with pod.) I'm running on a dial-up at 44k and it took an average of 10 to 15 seconds for the top-level directories. I don't know what would help speed it up, but I thought I'd give you my results. Best wishes, splash |
