Is it possible that this would be a future feature? Or maybe someone else has figured out how to do it??

Is this really a need, or just one of those "Gee, wouldn't it be cool if..." I mean, really, how many people use RSS to link to other people's blogs? 10?
OpenJournal was always really meant (and built) as a personal journalling system. It wasn't meant for large sites to use it as an alternative to many of the existing large-scale, enterprise versions of blogging software available.

Since I can't afford Manilla, and can't get my hosting service to let me install something like SLASH or Scoop, I've been forced to roll my own solution. OpenJournal, now that it offers the ability to have more than one editor, suits this purpose - more so after I did some tweaking to include icons (relevant to the topic, etc.).
I understand your reluctance to do this - especially if I'm the only one requesting it - but it seems like OpenJournal is moving from a personal journaling system into something more. The addition of multiple editors is in line with this. anyway, thanks for responding. |
