Hi, The following books have offered valuable insights to me on my present road to recovery from trauma from childhood abuse; thought I would share:

Pete Walker's complex PTSD
Judith Herman's trauma and recovery
David Celani's leaving home (still reading)

Any book you would like to recommend on the subject?
Thanks for this!

Thanks for sharing that list of books.

I noticed it had been a while since you posted and so I wanted to know that I care about PTSD and have myself struggled with non combat related PTSD. I don't talk much about it. But I enjoy sharing with people.

I noticed they have some book reviews on Psych Central about books on PTSD.

I have found the Pete Walker book very comforting.
