Today I am choosing to deal with my trauma. I am going to start focusing on what I want out of life. I am going to take the steps to getting rid of this fear and anxiety I am going to talk about it with someone and cry if I have to and not judge myself. I choose to release the grip I thought they had on me. Their views, opinions, words, behaviors, thoughts, beliefs have nothing to do with ME.

That sounds a lot like my personal mantra that I repeat to myself every morning.

You have taken a big step. Welcome to the journey.
