I've been a member for a long time. This is the first time I've been to this forum. I have C-PTSD. I need to be here but I've always been too scared.

I'm not sure where to begin.

It's totally up to you what you feel comfortable sharing & discussing.
I go through sports of responding/posting frequently, then hit quiet moments where I only read.
You can tell us about yourself, ask questions, jump in and respond on other threads... whatever works for you
