for those that are too young to remember that time period....well you missed the best music... but anyway here's the link to it on YouTube

Was this a FB pick or a song you relate to? Love some Bon Jovi.

Do you feel connected to that song? Or that it represents you now? In the past?

The song it picked for me was "Crazy Train" by Ozzy but I don't really agree. I'd have to say the song I feel most in tune with from the 80s is "Fire in the Sky" These lyrics just speak to me.

The introduction to his heartache began as a child
So it's no wonder that he grew up to be so wild.
So he protected his feelings in walls he imagined
But castles crumble exposing the frightened child.

Fire in the sky, can't you see that all my castles are burning.
Fire in the sky, won't you help me now my castles are burning.

In solitude he couldn't deal with his own existence,
The burning questions in the castles have still remained.
God only knows how he searched in vain for the answers,
Now castles crumble exposing his naked flames, yeah.

Never heard that but wasn't a big Ozzy follower

Well, I don't listen to the song, but I thought it ironic as I pray a lot, and I have been a very devout Christian . Which 80s song was meant for you? FB

We maybe you just relate to the title. I think it's odd that FB pulls out these songs for us and they strangely relate to our lives.

I listened to modern rock in the 80s, well late 80s. I was young.

Where's the link to that quiz? Do you happen to have it?

I grew up in the 80's, so I'm pretty curious which song would be "selected" for me.

It was on FB, but if you Google "What 80's song are you" it comes up with several sites to go to Good luck

Awesome thread idea!

I'm still too new to be able to post a link, but my 80's pick is:

Don't Dream It's Over by Crowded House.

Music has definitely been a lifesaver for me!

It helped me to survive the house of horrors that I grew up in.

I truly believe that had it not been for music I'd've never survived it at all.

Thanks for this!
