Do you have any rituals or anything you do special for therapy appointments?
I take something to keep my stomach quiet, eye drops before going, make sure I have tissues and something to ground with. Plus something warm to wear, but easy to take off if it gets too hot.

Any one else do anything special?

I wear the same jumper each week, she's even commented on it but I feel stressed if I wear something different and the sleeves are good to fidget with. I always walk there due to her drive being full of cars once over a year ago and i very nearly quit as it stressed me out so now I park in the retail park which is free. There's probably more but they were the first that came to me

That's great that you have identified some issues that were making it stressful for going to therapy and are taking steps to reduce the stress. Good job!

I go to Starbucks and buy a large iced coffee. I have dry mouth and it helps get me through the session.
Thanks for this!

Wow. That's a lot of coffee but I can see where that would be the optimal drink for a therapy session I always take coffee with me, never thought about why. Usually it's because I haven't been awake long. But it make be a distraction for me too.
