Anyone else feel that way. A close friend has been living with her mom for over a year taking care of her. Now her mom needs to go to a skilled nursing unit. It's killing my friend having to do this but she can no longer take care of her mom when she falls and with some of her illnesses. On top of that one of her mom's sister was found unconscious a few days ago and one sister died last night. Just seems like so much death is going on and that's a big trigger for me.

Yes 2017 has been rough so far for me, but not as bad as 2016. Events in late 2015 and 2016 led to two hospitalizations for my daughter in 2016.
If we can keep my daughter out of the hospital this year, I would be happy.

Well I hope that comes true for you. It seems that a lot of bad stuff is happening for me and people around me. Makes me want to isolate more thinking I'm bringing this bad luck to them.

((Trace)) you are not bringing back luck to others. But you "are" understandably very sensitive to trauma revolving around death because that is "your" major trauma that has been extremely difficult to heal from.
Also, the older one gets the more they are exposed to loss of lives around them when it comes to their piers and their family members too. ![]() |
