Ahhhh....my mom told me throughout my entire childhood that she wished she'd never had children. And
Possible trigger:
My mom was a very, very hurt person. She had a sad life. So many things. People hurt each other too easily.

My high school guidance counselor (Doris W.) told me I was going to be a bum because I couldn't tell her what I wanted to do when I grew up. Thing is... as it turned out... she was right!

This is your choice. God is in control. Just get over it. You are over medicated. Agree to disagree. I. Take full responsibility for what I said/ did to you- then they repeat behavior that was harmful to me.

"I'm a sociopath who would end up in jail without drugs & alcohol... You're just like me, you know?"
---- Other ED encouraging stuff like "If you can pinch an inch, you're too fat." "You should be able to see your ribs." "Gotta do 50 push ups a day, every day, and at least 100 sit ups." (He didn't do any of this himself), but of course I wanted to be "healthy" so I took this as religion. --- "Every time you feel that lump in your throat, your eyes watering, hold it back and do something else. When I'm depressed I just forget it. I don't get angry (no shyt sherlock you're always on downers)." (Surprise, I found self harm, disordered eating, abusive relationships, and severely inwardly directed anger that explodes outwardly every now and then). --- Probably the worst of all --- "Mom, the neighbor is, uh, doing things to me he shouldn't be doing." Mom: What do you want me to do about it? --Later on, same convo-- Dad: yeah, listen, you should go to the roman empire woman had it way worse

“She took my place next to my husband, go then, do what married people do”
“If I knew you were gonna grow up and cry so much I would have killed you when you were born” “I’m telling you, even if you committed suicide, I’ll go back to living normally as if i have no daughter.” “Just pretend as if you don’t have a mother and I’ll pretend I don’t have a child.” “You seem to have some sort of mental problem, that you keep changing plans” |

There are so many my mother said. I think the worst was when I was in labor and she said, "If your baby looks like your husband, then I'm not going to have anything to do with him." (The baby didn't.)
