#whats the worst thing someone told you?

Ahhhh....my mom told me throughout my entire childhood that she wished she'd never had children. And

Possible trigger:

before I went to bed, "Don't close your eyes tonight because I'm going to kill you." I was 9 years old.

My mom was a very, very hurt person. She had a sad life.

So many things. People hurt each other too easily.

My high school guidance counselor (Doris W.) told me I was going to be a bum because I couldn't tell her what I wanted to do when I grew up. Thing is... as it turned out... she was right!

There are so many my mother said. I think the worst was when I was in labor and she said, "If your baby looks like your husband, then I'm not going to have anything to do with him." (The baby didn't.)
