I do actually try to get out of my shell. But it is so painful every time! And people continue to hurt me every time I do.
I am really astonished, how many people say out loud they are really starved of and value honesty. But when I open up and am absolutely honest - they surprisingly find every possible way to exploit it and then just discard me.

Is honesty so valued only because people can wipe their boots on it?
