The four f’s
Fight, flight, freeze, fawn.. I was recently triggered at a “compulsory” social event....  I can completely relate to this... how many abusive parents reserve their harshest punishments for “talking back” and so ruthlessly extinguish the “fight” response in the child   I’m still sometimes surprised by how MANY supposedly “intelligent” people in very “responsible” “jobs” are mean without cause .. Maybe I’m “just stupid”  However, unlike when I was 3 years old I can fight back if needed  (Not about anyone on pc) __________________
