Thank you for your response. I have difficulty expressing myself. I did not mean for my post to sound too extreme, although I can't seem to express myself. I am in daily conflict with past trauma. Other than disappointment in human rights and humanity in general, I am also disappointed in my memories - that is where loosing focus becomes discouragement. From there performance drops like a domino. It helps to not feel alone. Thank you for your support.

Hi isotrope,
I can relate to this. A big issue of facing trauma for me is that I have to accept that it happened at all. There's a whole lot of other issues too. I'm scared of feeling emotions and my knee jerk response for so long has been to dissociate. It's like a compulsion and difficult to avoid. You're not alone. Good luck |
